After a brief and formalities, you'll explore Lake Nakuru, a 45 km² saline lake haven to myriads of fuchsia pink flamingos that feed on abundant algae which thrives in warm waters. The surface of the shallow lake is often hardly recognizable due to the continually shifting mass of pink! You'll have a piquant picnic lunch at noon before proceeding with game drives in this UNESCO World Heritage Site, where lions, cheetahs, and leopards dominate. The park has the largest concentration of the endangered black rhinos, white rhinos, giraffes, zebras and over 450 species of birds. At 5 pm, you'll begin the drive back to the resort for a scrumptious dinner and an overnight stay. At 5 pm, you'll depart for an educative nature walk with an armed guard and a bonafide Maasai dressed in traditional African regalia. After the incredible walking safari, you'll be transferred to a Maasai Boma. Learn about the distinctive customs and traditions of the Maasai people in their ancestral land. They're a proud, nomadic warrior race struggling to integrate into a dwindling world. You'll awake at dawn for a full English breakfast and game drives at 7 am. The park is the only protected area with an indigenous population of the endangered Black Rhinos. All members of the Big Five reside here all year round. African wild dogs are rare because of the stiff competition from the honchos of the jungle, the golden lions, who often decimate their populations. The Mara ecosystem, spanning across Serengeti and Ngorongoro, has one of the highest densities of predators. Even the dramatic arrival of the Annual Migration merely adds to an already abundant resident wildlife that awaits discovery. You'll feast upon a delicious picnic lunch at noon before proceeding for afternoon game drives in this sanctuary for wildlife. Later, you'll be transferred to Keekorok Airstrip for departure on your scheduled flight at 2 pm to Mombasa Airport. You'll arrive around 4 pm. Our driver will then transfer you from the airport to your hotel anywhere in the city.
