Kennedy Space Centre

Touring the Kennedy Space Center (KSC) is a thrilling and educational experience that allows you to explore the history, technology, and future of space exploration. As of my last knowledge update in September 2021, We provide you with a general overview of what you can expect when visiting the Kennedy Space Center.


Visitor Complex Entrance

Your journey begins at the Visitor Complex, where you can purchase tickets and start exploring. Be sure to grab a map and schedule of events to plan your day. 

Space Shuttle Atlantis Exhibit

This is one of the highlights of the KSC tour. You can see the actual Space Shuttle Atlantis on display, along with various interactive exhibits and simulators.

Rocket Garden

Explore a collection of historic rockets from the early days of space exploration to the present. It’s a great place to learn about the different launch vehicles.

Heroes and Legends

 This attraction features the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame, where you can learn about the brave men and women who have journeyed into space. 

MAX Theater

Watch space-related films in the IMAX theater to get a larger-than-life perspective on space exploration.

Kennedy Space Center Bus Tour

This tour takes you behind the scenes to the launch areas and launch pads. You’ll see historic sites like Launch Complex 39A and 39B, where Apollo and Space Shuttle missions launched. 

Apollo/Saturn V Center

 Explore the history of the Apollo program and see the Saturn V rocket, the most powerful rocket ever built. It’s an awe-inspiring experience.

Rocket Launch Viewing

If you’re lucky, there might be a rocket launch scheduled during your visit. Check the launch schedule and plan accordingly. Viewing locations vary depending on the launch.

Astronaut Encounter

Check the schedule for astronaut meet-and-greet sessions. You might have the chance to ask questions and get autographs.

Space Shop

Don’t forget to visit the gift shop for space-themed souvenirs, clothing, and astronaut ice cream.

Dining

There are several dining options within the Visitor Complex, including the Orbit Café.

Special Events

Depending on the time of your visit, there may be special events, exhibitions, or educational programs.

Education and STEM Programs

KSC offers educational programs for students and educators, focusing on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
