Day 1: Welcome to Tanzania – Arrival in Arusha
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), where your Earth Explorers guide will warmly welcome you before transferring you to your hotel in Arusha.
After your international flight, enjoy a relaxed afternoon and evening at leisure.
Optional Experience: Visit the famous Serval Wildlife Sanctuary for an intimate wildlife encounter with servals, giraffes, zebras, ostriches, and other resident animals. It is an excellent introduction to Tanzania and a wonderful opportunity for photography.

Day 2 – Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, famous for its magnificent baobab trees, dramatic landscapes, and some of Tanzania’s largest elephant herds.
Spend the day on an exciting game drive through the park, watching for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, wildebeest, impalas, warthogs, and an impressive variety of birdlife.
As the day unfolds, your guide will help you discover Tarangire’s diverse ecosystems and hidden wildlife encounters.

Day 3 – Ngorongoro Crater & Serengeti National Park

Every Earth Explorers expedition includes an international airfare allowance based on average economy-class fares from select major international departure gateways at the time the itinerary is published.

This airfare allowance is included in your package price. If the actual airfare at the time of ticketing exceeds the included allowance due to seasonal demand, airline fare increases, limited seat availability, changes in departure city, or traveler-requested itinerary modifications, the traveler will be responsible for paying the fare difference before airline tickets are issued.
