Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be met by your Earth Explorers representative and privately transferred to your accommodation in Arusha.

After check-in, enjoy time to relax and recover from your international journey.

After breakfast, depart Arusha for Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most spectacular wildlife destinations.

Spend the day exploring the park’s diverse landscapes, famous for enormous elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. Keep your eyes open for lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeest and an impressive variety of birdlife.

Enjoy a picnic lunch during your safari before continuing toward Karatu in the afternoon.

After breakfast, travel toward the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater and descend into the crater for an unforgettable game drive.

Wake up in the heart of the Serengeti and prepare for a full day of wildlife exploration.

Set out with your professional safari guide to discover the park’s endless plains and diverse habitats. Search for lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, buffaloes, hyenas, wildebeest, hippos, crocodiles and gazelles.

Depending on wildlife movements, your guide will select the best areas for game viewing and photography.

Enjoy a memorable sunrise or sunset game drive before returning to camp.

Today gives you another opportunity to explore the Serengeti in greater depth.

Venture into different areas of the park in search of wildlife and enjoy more time observing the behavior of predators and plains game. A second full safari day also increases your chances of discovering special wildlife encounters and capturing exceptional photographs.

Optional Experience: Begin the morning with a Serengeti hot air balloon safari, floating above the plains at sunrise before enjoying a champagne bush breakfast.

Continue with your vehicle safari afterward.

Enjoy a final morning game drive in the Serengeti before heading to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to Arusha.

Upon arrival in Arusha, connect with your included flight to Zanzibar.

Transfer to your Zanzibar accommodation and spend the remainder of the day relaxing.
