Follow the trackers as you search for southern white rhinos and observe these extraordinary animals in their natural surroundings.

After the experience, continue toward Murchison Falls National Park.

Wake up in Uganda’s largest national park and head into the savanna.

Experience the mighty Nile and the raw wilderness of one of Uganda’s most iconic national parks.

After breakfast, begin the scenic journey south toward Fort Portal.

Travel through rural communities, farmland, and the changing landscapes of western Uganda.

Today, you enter the forest.

Join professional trackers in search of wild chimpanzees.

Listen for calls echoing through the trees and follow the tracking team through the forest toward the chimpanzee community.

Chimpanzees move quickly, communicate loudly, and can turn a quiet forest walk into an exciting wildlife adventure within moments.

After the tracking experience, continue toward Kasese and the Queen Elizabeth National Park region.

Begin your morning with a game drive through Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Search the savanna for elephants, buffalo, lions, Uganda kob, warthogs, and other wildlife.

Later, board a boat for an unforgettable cruise along the Kazinga Channel.

Watch hippos fill the water, crocodiles rest along the banks, and elephants and buffalo gather near the shoreline.

After the boat cruise, continue exploring the surrounding landscapes with a visit to the twin lakes and selected local attractions.

Travel south through the legendary Ishasha Sector.

Search the giant fig trees and surrounding savanna for Uganda’s famous tree-climbing lions.

The wildlife experience continues as you journey toward Bwindi and the ancient mountain rainforest.

Arrive near the forest and settle in.

Tomorrow, you meet the mountain gorillas.

Overnight: Bwindi Region

The defining moment of the journey.

Enter the forest with professional trackers and rangers in search of a habituated mountain gorilla family.

Trek through Bwindi until the gorillas are located, then experience the extraordinary privilege of observing them in their natural habitat.

Watch their interactions. Listen to the forest. Take in a wildlife encounter that few people will ever experience.

After the trek, continue to beautiful Lake Mutanda.

Relax beside the water and experience the dramatic mountain landscapes of southwestern Uganda.
